I graduated from the General Transcription course in February 2017, and this was one of the best investments I’ve made in myself. This course is HARD. It has a wide variety of practice dictations that increase in difficulty, and you really need to thoroughly complete them all to be well-prepared for the final exam. It took me three attempts to pass. Janet, the instructor, demands perfection, and I felt very prepared to step into the “real world” and find my own clients. The course took me approximately six weeks to complete. This is not a course for someone who wants to balance working from home with raising small children. You need a quiet space to work and plenty of time to dedicate to it. If you have that availability, this is a great course for the money. I’m happy I took it and it has paid off for me over and over.

As a legal secretary taking the General Transcription course, I am learning a lot. I have found the course to be invaluable and has definitely been worth my time. It rocks! Janet Shaughnessy and Marsha Schnipper are always helpful and available to help. The FB community is also very helpful. If you have a question, present it and help is offered. I love it.

Being a former legal secretary/paralegal, I decided to take the Legal Transcription course from Transcribe Anywhere to refresh my skills. Whether you take the General Transcription course or the Legal Transcription course, you will definitely get your money’s worth. The General Transcription course will get you very well prepared to become a transcriptionist in any arena you choose. The Legal Transcription course will further your abilities and money-making skills in the legal area. These courses are difficult and require hard work on your part, but the benefits pay off. I am now running my own successful business and have said good-bye to the 9 to 5 grind. If you want to make a little to supplement your income or run a full-time business, this is a great place to start. Janet and Marsha are the best at what they do; we are all lucky that they want to share the wealth of knowledge and information they have gained over many years.

Even as someone who already had some transcribing experience, I’m extremely grateful for everything I learned from this course and would do it again in a heartbeat!
